Following news that 6000 people had been taken of the electoral register in West Belfast, FCC ran a number of very successful registration clinics across the constituency in early 2017. However following the election a number of people have contacted us to tell us that on the day, they were told in the polling stations that they were not registered and were unable to vote. So we are again offering people the opportunity to get registered. It is vitally important that everyone is registered to have their say in any future elections. We are again calling on all political parties to support these registration clinics.”
The clinics are being run by Falls Community Council. In order to get registered you must know your National Insurance Number and have it with you on the night for the forms. Also, no Ids will be given on the night as it is not the electoral office running these clinics. The dates, times and venues are as follows:
Tuesday 4th April: Falls Library – 5.30-8pm.
Sally Gardens Centre, Poleglass 6-9pm.
Horn Drive Community Centre 6-8.30pm.
Wednesday 5th April: Dairy Farm Centre – 12-8pm.
Upper Springfield Development Trust – 5.30-8pm.
Thursday 6th April: Kennedy Centre – 10am-8pm.
Friday 7th April: Andersonstown Leisure Centre – 6-9pm.
